Summer  Hours

May 16th will start our summer hours: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.

Spring activities - and active we are!  We had a long winter with lots of snow, which gave the trees a nice long, warm sleep and the old farmer lots of opportunity to snow board.  Then Spring and Winter seemed to be at war and we got more snow.  We enjoyed spring skiing conditions in March and winter again in April.  The sun has now been shinning enough to warm the bees in their hives and they went to work for us like, well like busy bees!  The orchard bloom was beautiful, fragrant and full.  Though the cool spring did some damage to fruit trees in the state, this area did not experience the extreme temperatures.  We did do our share of getting up nights and turning on water and wind machines to protect the buds.  The weatherman is now predicting some July like temperatures for the coming days.  The crews are working in the orchards to actually thin out the apples making more room for the remaining apples to grow, training young limbs and checking for pests.  And we are all enjoying the warm, lengthening days  while we look forward to your visit!    

Cream of the Crop Ice Cream!!! You heard right we are making homemade ice cream here, now. And I really mean now. You place your order and we make the ice cream right before your eyes! Using a very cool process we can instantly freeze the cream and our fresh fruit and other ingredients to create a delicious treat that will have you returning again and again as each new fruit ripens.

Our own Orondo Cider Works Hard Cider has been very well received. We have been pleased with the reception of our sweet and dry styles. Come in and try some soon. It's a great crisp, refreshing drink with appetizers or with your meal. New Fall 2007 - we have just added an extra dry for those of you who really like the drier style ciders.
